Not Africans...black Americans. The vast majority of black folks in the US today have never set foot in Africa.

Jesse Jackson pushed for the term. I hate it. I won't use it. I'm American. My cultural ties are here.

Not to mention that blacks that immigrate here from Caribbean nations and even nations in Africa usually have both parents, they are more successful, their children do better in school and stay out of trouble.

It isn’t a black issue. It’s a breakdown of American black families. No father in the home. All the other problems Candace O outlines better than I.
