NASCAR has had it coming for quite some time. Their rule revisions have taken the spirit of the sport away. I will also say I believe the assault on NASCAR is a continued assault on southern culture. Take the "good ol boys" out of the broadcast booth, promote northeastern or California drivers, take away legendary tracks from the circuit to promote races at northern speedways and now remove the Southern Cross. NASCAR is letting it be known that the fan who made NASCAR a national sport is no longer welcome. I just want to know what will NASCAR do when their "new" fans discover their hero Bubba Wallace is a middle of the pack driver with no races won or laps led this season?

Well, he did get his highest career finish yesterday. He finished 9th at the Brickyard 400.

No he finished 2nd at the Daytona 500 in 2018.. that was a fluke thanks to a wreck caused by the guy who won but it's biggest success.

Yep and that's because nearly half the field wrecked out because they weren't used to Pit Road at Indy. He will go back to finishing 18th or 23rd like he usually does at Bristol and Texas.

Really? The fans who used to fill Bristol, make Daytona a sellout in both Spring and Fall races? The fans who made Dover a tough ticket? Those Southern Cross waving rednecks used to camp at the track beginning Thursday night so they could go to the XFinity race, the Truck race and the Cup Series race. Nope, NASCAR doesn't like those fans....they like the white wine drinking, quiche eating SJW fans. What happens when those fans get bored because they feel they have cured the societal ills of the world and they move on because their hero will never win a race?

Business needs to always expand. That’s the name of game. BUT don’t piss off one for anther. “Splitting “ is a political technique NOT a successful long term business plan.
