The "Lincoln Project" is a bunch of shills formed in late 2019, as you can see by looking up their domain name registration. They're about as "Republican" as Colin Powell, who is now a Hillary bestie who works for Kleiner Perkins, which has all sorts of strange ties to to things like the Steele dossier, Epstein (see Pao's recent tweet), or even some random Chinese firm that was caught blackmailing servicemen...
Overall, the "Lincoln Project" is basically the latest iteration of this sort of soy-soaked silliness:
