The ruling basically says they can't vote against the will of state, but doesn't address the laws that states passed to vote for the popular vote winner of the country. They could be a big issue if it comes up in this election.

In a sane world, that ruling would prevent the electors from voting popular vote if their state popular vote went differently, but we will see.
