I'm 40 years old and I was never registered to vote until last year. I never believed in politicians even though I generally supported Republicans because they were closer to what I believed in, but still never voted for them because something always seemed off with all politicians. They all seemed broken to me. I registered last year so I could vote for Trump. I wasn't watching the 2016 election returns because "It was a landslide for Hillary", until some unexpected things started happening and I couldn't keep my eyes off the TV as I was laughing my ass off. Seeing the reaction from all these leftists that were crying and distraught over "It's her TURN!!!", not getting her turn was so satisfying. It wasn't until I started paying attention to what President Trump was actually saying that I bought in to him. Trump 2020 MAGA!!!

Once a reporter asked him, "Say Joe, what's the best thing about twenty-nine year olds?"

He quickly answered, "Well, the best thing is, there's twenty of 'em!"

I thought of it in those terms just the other day. I’m 49 and Biden has been in politics almost my entire life but the payoff for the American public has yet to be seen. Almost 50 years and what has he accomplished that betters the American people? Trump has done more in 3 years than any of them.

At some point Joe is going to just start talking about a kid he molested. I think he got damn close to slipping with that creepy as fuck leg hair story.

Me too. And I was BUSY!!! Raising kids, cats and dogs, running around, doing all the things a busy household of 5 needed in a mother. So I thought if I watched ALL of the news outlets I was 'educated' about politics. It was much later when I realized all the fucking networks were in cahoots and feeding me bullshit.

My rage was more at the media who LIED and DECEIVED me.

I was ALWAYS going to vote Trump, even when he toyed with the idea of running in the late 80s. I waited for him.

On election night, they called Ohio and Florida and I burst into tears!! I had my electoral map plotted out and I knew he won the presidency. Happiest day ever!!

Me too Veronica - he had teased about running before and although I really didn't know his politics very well, I just had this feeling that turned out to be correct. I waited for him also. MAGA lady pede.

You're kids probably wont even know the significance but I bet having a free thinking household to grow up in should play a massive hand in how well they do.

After the 2016 election it had occurred to me that my family is not actually a free thinking household. Would have been nice to grow up in a house where I could say whatever I want without being treated like a retarded conspiracy theorist to the people who are actually the retarded conspiracy theorists

The day after the 2016 election was MAGICAL. I felt so light. I had been so anxious, assuming Clinton would win. I sat up until 2am watching results because I just couldn't bear to go to sleep before I knew how it would end.

Was exhausted at work the next day, but I didn't care, I was so relieved.

Joking aside I really hope we win, this is pretty much western civilisation's last stand. Communists are drooling at the possibility of an American takeover.

5
TEXinLA 5 points ago +5 / -0

Absolutely. This is the most important election of our lifetime.

I'm in Crazyfornia and even out here, people are pissed at the WuFlu lockdowns, the riots/looting, and protesters.

But most of them are still "Orange Man Bad..."

TrumpysaurusRex 34 points ago +35 / -1

I always felt like my vote meant nothing being in N.Y. a very blue state but I have realized the importance of votes in local elections. We all have to show up for every election!

16
HillarysStrapOn 16 points ago +16 / -0

Good deal. All politics is local. Think of all these tranny freak show “health” officials unilaterally imposing draconian measures. Get to them through through local politicians like supervisors and councilmen. If the best solution my government can come up with for this shit Is something out of the Stone Age, then we need a new government.

6
salvecitizen 6 points ago +6 / -0

That's a very natural thought, but it can be self-defeating. When Red voters abdicate, Blue candidates tend to pander more Left, because they see more reward than risk in that direction.

1
Kolob 1 point ago +1 / -0

You are right, people go into the political pipeline at the bottom rungs. State political organizers have huge power and some are truly awful. Be vigilant

1
learntocode 1 point ago +1 / -0

The local election is the BEST place to vote.

Nobody votes, right? That means your vote has a 3x to 10x damage modifier depending on turnout.

Get a spouse, a neighbor, a friend to vote one way or another and your voice is now 9x to 30x more significant. I love low turnout local elections!

27
adam_schiff 27 points ago +27 / -0

Keep yourself healthy. Redpill others. And do t forget to show up and vote, unlike the unreliable horde of dumb-o-crats!

And arm yourself because they’re gonna riot when Trump wins. Or even if he doesn’t, because they’re slime.

7
jennyfrutex 7 points ago +7 / -0

They're going to riot no matter what, because they're full of hate.

I can't wait to capitalize on the "biden landslide" nonsense this time around.

Off-shore gambling websites right now - below are my favorites:

  • $100 bet on Trump pays back $240 (your $100 back plus $140 winnings)

  • Republicans win popular vote - $100 pays back $560

  • Republicans take house and keep senate - $100 pays back $650

  • New Hampshire flips red - $100 pays back $400

4
Logan051361 4 points ago +4 / -0

have you used this site and made Bets and were paid?

5
blacktankguy 5 points ago +5 / -0

Great question.

I have not personally collected cash back from this website yet. I did a bunch of research over the weekend into off-shore gambling websites, and this one (Bovada) consistently came back as the most reputable.

After spending a few hours looking into this topic, I feel pretty good about it.

Another option would be to place the bets in person at a physical casino with a sportsbook - but I don't live near any unfortunately.

6

3

I got 5k on Trump from a friend of a friend who hates Trump. Still contemplating getting 5k more. Kinda screwed myself and got him at +115 when it's now like +140. Wish me luck pedes

15
ChickNorris 15 points ago +15 / -0

You're not alone my friend. My cousin had never voted at the age of 58 when I showed her the way. Her first presidential vote was for Trump. When the primaries came around she was the one asking me when do we go vote. She very clearly understands how important her vote is now.

3
Shermoo 3 points ago +3 / -0

This story is the same for millions. I’m convinced many many republicans sat out in 2016. So many voters came out for the first time, scared Republicans now have a proven candidate with no risk. Just check the republican approval numbers. Let’s get it.

Something seeming "off" about politicians is exactly why I didn't vote until recently, and two or three people - Donald J Trump now among them - notwithstanding, I'd still rather vote for the homeless guy down the street than any of the choices we generally have.

While I was happy that President Trump was a businessman rather than a politician, I initially wrote him off as "just another rich guy out of touch with the issues facing normal Americans". I happily admit that I was wrong.

Well you were right about something being off about politicians, at least the vast majority of them. The only reason most would run for office is either because they are power hungry, or couldn't find a better job.

President Trump is a real anomaly, someone who sacrificed personally to better the country. There are a few others, Rand Paul, Jim Jordan etc. but very few.

Voting is not about personally endorsing someone, it us about getting people in office who will benefit and preserve this Republic. Sometimes, it may even involve voting for shitstains like Mitch McConnel, or Lindsey Graham, because the alternative is far worse

US expat, living in Switzerland (not in Europe), never voted in my life. Started process for registration in my birth state. What the far left is doing is unacceptable, and every american here is silently raging. It is good taste to avoid swiss political discourse here, but when it comes to US politics you can expect >80% support for our guy. People here don't appreciate the bad tweeting habit, but for what I know the glorious orange businessman is a very fine president, and is acknowledged as one.

1
Paperbagpatriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

But it was so glorious to see the faces of all the mainstream media personalities (I can't call them newspeople because they only report FAKE NEWS). I could tell Trump was winning, even before they would call another state for Trump, by the looks of bitterness and disappointment on all their faces!

1
jennyfrutex 1 point ago +1 / -0

I watched Steven Crowder's election night livestream in 2016! It got me through it, even those tense early hours when we assumed Trump would lose. Crowder's irreverent and loud and funny, and I knew that no matter what happened, he'd find some kind of silver lining.

2
Southern_Belle 2 points ago +3 / -1

There's a reason they pushed that "her turn" business.

She was the latest in a string of Deep State crime bosses to hold office in the White House.

Bush Sr was CIA.

The Clintons sold coke with Bush Sr out of Mena, Arkansas, so I heard. So they are in the same crime gang with the Bush family.

We have, therefore:

  1. Bush (Reagan VP)

  2. Bush (VP)

  3. Bush

  4. Clinton

  5. Clinton

  6. Bush Jr

  7. Bush Jr

  8. Obama/Clinton (Sec of State)

  9. Obama/Clinton (Sec of State)

Ever since Reagan, the same deep state people have been in the White House.

So it was indeed her turn. They made her wait so it wouldn't look so obvious.

2
learntocode 2 points ago +2 / -0

It costs a campaign a lot of money to convince a voter to vote. If you want to put Trump over the top, try to get two to five friends and acquaintances to vote Trump. Bring a registration form for them, set reminders in your calendar to follow up, and offer a ride to the polls if you can. Those two to five people represent a couple thousand $$$'s spent to convince a group that size - well over campaign donor limits practically speaking, and it costs you nothing but a little time.

1
doodaddy 1 point ago +1 / -0

Probably a deeper post than planned @JoeyTheKidSniifer.

The Democrats vaguely (or extremely) ad hominem every Republican ever. Just a whiff of "idiot" and "racist" or an all-out phony sex scandal.

While I don't believe Republicans are all effective good guys. And I know they are not. Your entire life you've heard that Clinton was amazing (ignore the scandals), and Bush was the devil (how is he worse?). How can you vote for the devil?

It's like having that jealous female friend that, as soon as you like someone, says "I heard she has VD," or "she's the dumbest friend I have." Kinda knocks the wind out of it, so...

You just move on and let the "informed" do the voting. :)
