Some natives have a problem with it. I always argued it was better to keep it in the cultural zeitgeist. Obviously anything overtly racist shouldnt be allowed but otherwise anything respectful should be more honoring. A lot of the mixed natives dont care about the mascots whereas the far left AIM types are the ones causing all the stink.
