We name pro sports teams out of groups of people all the time: Cowboys, Yankees, Knights, Gold miners, oil workers, meat packers, Mariners, priests, steel manufacturers, even pirates and beer brewers. Every time it is because we admire them for their hard work ethic and badassery. But if a team is named after anything having to do with Native Americans, it is because someone chose to name their team after a group of people that they despise? Wtf kind of logic is that?
The always say " Wouldn't name a team after blacks or Jews would you?" Well....no.
