It was always obvious to me that their 'movement' was fueled by deep-seated insecurity driven resentment against the majority (whites), since they were largely 'protesting' on non-issues anyway. The goal was disruption, disrupting the white majority society and in the process disrupt and damage every possible democratic including their own.
