This happened the same weekend George Floyd was killed. My church decided to do a sermon on racism and in my mind thinking this is going to be a great unity message. Well I was wrong! The stage was setup like a CNN panel with three black members of the church and the moderator was one of the white pastors. Thinking to my self "this is different" I starting watching. The pastor starts off with his opening monologue of this is going to be hard for some of you to hear but it is the churches responsibility blah blah blah.... He then proceeds to ask the panel how they feel about the current situation. This is where it gets interesting. The first gentlemen speaking starts going on his rant and where he lost me was when he stated that America's racism has not changed in 400 years. I immediately felt the anger in my body and verbally said "I can't listen to this". The next day I decide to watch the rest of the sermon thinking maybe it changed into a heartfelt message, WRONG! The next woman tells the pastor that he as a white man doesn't know how it feels to wonder if your child is coming home when he walks out the door. First of all she lives in a ritzy area of TN where the crimes committed are traffic violations. On top of that stats do not support her opinion. The pastor chimes in again with a conversation he had with one of the panel members earlier about how he is sorry that the panel member had to talk with his kids about how to interact with the cops and he never had to have that talk. First of all he is the head of the church and speaks for all of us and I took that as him apologizing on behalf of all of us "whites" and second isn't it just good parenting to teach your kids how to interact with police? The last thing that got me was the pastor turns to the panel and asks this question "As a white father how can I raise my children to break the cycle?" That is what did me in, as the head of the church he asked how white people can raise their children to not be racist. Like WTF am I looking at this wrong here? Anyway one of the pastors calls me and in a polite way tells me I didn't understand the message and it wasn't for everyone. Which I quickly point out to him that it wasn't a message it was a panel with people giving opinions that were not based on fact with preaching sprinkled in. That is why we are leaving this church friends!
TLDR: Church holds CNN style panel pandering to black church members alienating most all of our LEO members and many others.

Church should never be a political meeting. Jesus told us to love the Lord our God and love our neighbor. Accusing someone of being racist (especially without evidence) is not Christ-like.
Matthew 7:5: Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Do not worry, you will find a real church with lovely God-fearing people. Do not focus on Satan's distracting evil, rather on our glorious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will keep y'all in my prayers.
My company held an eerily similar seminar as well with 3 black execs and managers (who all make far more money than me) making similar comments.
Almost as if this is all from some common playbook.
I hope they at least chose black employees that earned their positions through merit. Otherwise that seminar would have been especially awkward.
They're trying to put us all on the traincars and they are retarded enough to think it's their only choice rather than to stop being the racists they claim we are.
If they're putting you on traincars or have you hiding like anne frank, shoot them. They might kill a lot of us trying but if all the jews shot every nazi that tried to round them up the nazis wouldn't have gotten powerful enough to start a world war, they would have ran out of men to round people up.
I resent that people assume I'm racist just because I'm white. Doesn't that make THEM the racist ones? Sorry that your church is cucked. I hope you can find a better one.
Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?" And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness."
Beautiful reference. Great job scripturepede
All who seek to follow Christ will suffer opposition.
You are following on the right path. God bless you pede.
Just like Judas was seduced by Satan, many today are the same way. It's a battle in every generation. Evil never rests.
Infiltration instead of invasion.
Let me guess a little white privilege put in there to make up for them being shitty human beings. Fact!: I avoid all violent confrontations with police by not breaking the law. Fact I come home ever night by not putting myself in shitty situations with violent people who will not think twice about killing me. It’s not 100% but I’d wager it’s around 99%
Alex Jones Was Right . 501c3 Fema/clergy Infiltration of Many Church's..
Exactly. How do you raise your child? Read the Book.
If your church preaches the Gospel and is otherwise a good church, vote this pastor out. He should be preaching and teaching the word of God and shouldn’t have to ask the very people he is leading and teaching how to do it. He’s not a leader, he’s a follower.
When are pedes going to start founding their own actively non-cucked churches?
About now. They will begin popping up, and multiply toward the end of the war. Experience shows few of them last beyond the generation that starts them, though.
small house groups is the answer, just how the church started and was under the roman persecution
Sorry this happened, Pede. It is difficult to leave a church family.
Any person of God who preaches that America and its people are racist needs to do some soul searching.
Before joining a new church, ask the pastors which is the more important phase:
"Black Lives Matter" or "All Lives Matter."
And no, they are not equal. We are all equal in the eyes of God.
Crazy to see so many churches totally miss the whole entire point of the bible to the level they are out there trying to teach us about racism like we're dumb idiots or something.
Exactly. Out here in CA, it is endemic. Preach to me about Jesus and God.
Don't preach to me about how Orange or White People Bad.
Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is mine: the soul who sins shall die.
Genesis 2:7 Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.
You do not need a church, unless you want it.
.....And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 5And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their reward. 6But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.…
My church was already on the skids with "pray for equality in farm wages," but the "nationalism is racism" homily really sealed the deal. Hope everyone is now enjoying their Sunday BLM struggle sessions, along with the reservation system, face diaper and Newsom's "no singing rule."
Creepy how satan is controlling these people to pray to god huh? Almost like satan himself doesnt see that he is more a believer than not. Or something like that, probably
"...and the second is this: Love your neighbour as yourself."
If the church is teaching this and living this, there should be no need for a racism / anti-racism panel or statement.
Walking out of a California church mid sermon was the highlight of my year 2019. Orthodoxy welcomed me with open arms.
Could you explain this orthodoxy stuff for a brief moment if you dont mind?
I've never been to a church and never opened a bible once in my life until maybe about a year ago and it's the only book I read. Is the orthodoxy something along the lines of a church that never strays away from the good book? That sounds like the church for me if that's what it is
Acts 20: 28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
Christian Pedes need to watch this, its from 2013.
its Chuck mistler one of the greatest bible teachers of our time

For a second I thought you were talking about my church because the same damn thing happened there, and we were not happy about it. I don't mind "listening", but they need to back off from this BLM nonsense. Luckily 2 of our panelists came off more based saying they think a lot of this racism isn't the fault of the police but the black community.
I left the ELCA a couple of decades ago. Feels good man.
Racist pastors need to repent. Pastors who how to man rather than God need to repent. It's all so frustrating, but not new.
