I just wanna say thank you! All of you are amazing! I was in a very dark place before I found this site last month... You have brought me so much joy and been a true light in this dark tunnel. I lost everything due to COVID lockdowns and have to stay with my parents. I don't know if my bad luck will cheer you up by making yours look better but here goes:
Had FOUR strokes - 2 in December, big one in January, little one in February. I started to feel slightly better I took a turn for the worse. I had a couple of trips to the ER feeling like another stroke or heart attack. Aorta Aneurysm, NASH fatty liver, Spleen is several times larger than it should be. Two hernias. Cyst in lung, Prostate Aneurysm, and then a few small things. I'm having the first operation to repair the aorta in a few days. I was shitposting here from the ER when I found out all the good news. I'm a veteran so get top notch care at the VA hospital. No BS, I've had outstanding care from the VA hospital. So, on the plus side I'm not worried about medical bills. On the minus side, I'm penniless and will likely lose my house as I haven't worked since December. I've got some issues with memory so this might sound really stupid but I'm not sure how my bills are getting taken care of. I've got incredible friends and close family. I've had a great life and if it's my time to check out y'all can have my stuff - free yard sale!
That's it. Look on the bright side of life. I'm mentally bracing myself for the worst and hoping for the best. I bounce really good so if I hit bottom I'll pick myself up by my boot straps and build my empire all over again.
Thanks for your appreciation and prayers. I tell all my friends - I only need to live until the first week of November. If I don't I might end up voting for Biden. If I can make it to be at President Trumps second Inauguration it's the cherry on top of my life.

Thanks Fren. I've had some pretty rough rows to hoe the last couple of years. It's feeling more and more like living in a simulated VR world where the programmer keeps trying to throw more and more shit at me to see how much more I can take. I have to just laugh about it at this point because there is no point in moping and I certainly don't have any other options except to see the amusing side of it. I'm going to keep on with the MAGA mantra and hope for the best.
