If they 'went with' their hormones, they would have to deal with male rejection. They were indoctrinated by the feminists ( yes, I am from that generation ); then, they taught their daughters men are wrong/bad/etc. etc.This is why many women turn gay. If anyone on this board has more 'butch' information, please, let's see it. I can't stand being around those women - particularly the butch women. I go out of my way to avoid them. I am a hetero female, glad of it, and love MEN.
