This post started as a response to a different thread but I thought it deserved its own post.

The discussion was regarding cleaning up the GOP and how everyday people like you and me must step up and actually run for office. But how?

As we have seen the democrat party has fundamentally transformed in the last decade. It is time for conservatives to adapt and change as well. It is clear this site has enormous potential to be the "grassroots" epicenter of a new political party. The MAGA Party.

What I am proposing is an organized effort, coordinated through TD.win and its users to accomplish the following:

-Creation of the new Political Party. Entrenched Republicans will never relinquish power and our candidates are unlikely to receive serious support from the GOP coffers and staffers.

-Identify and target political offices that have a high probability of success with a maximum return of "political power" and influence.

-Identify potential candidates from a pool of TD users. This is for obvious reasons. While we may not exactly agree on every detail, everyone here loves America unequivocally and knows that she is being destroyed and the rot runs deep. Among other qualifiers, candidates must have zero prior government office service and no governmental affiliations such as lobbying activities. A big part of Trump's appeal was that of an "outsider".

-An internal primary of these candidates. After a period of "campaigning" and debates the ideal candidate will be selected. It is likely that policy issues will not be varied substantially and consideration should be given to intangibles (ie charisma, a very real factor in election success).

-Fundraising activities. This can be accomplished internally and externally.

-Seek endorsements from our GEOTUS. While unlikely until after the 2020 election (he needs to play nice with existing GOP leadership), I believe once he secures his second term we would receive FULL support.

-Campaign. This is where TD has its time to shine. Why was the r/TD targeted so heavily? Because of its influence and power. TD.win is no different.

This site is full of very intelligent and high energy people. It is time to make our future and secure America's existence and prosperity.
