"Thanks goes to Collin County Judge Chris Hill for blowing the whistle on what appears to be a move in mid-May to redefine what was a “Covid” case to open the door to a massive increase – all to match the mainstream media line that a “second wave” was on the way.

In a Commissioners Court hearing for Collin County on May 18th, it was revealed that while previously the determination of a Covid “case” was a confirmed test result, the definition was suddenly changed to count “probable” cases as “cases.” At the same time, the threshold for determining “probable” was lowered to a ridiculous level.

As Judge Hill said at that May 18th meeting, “If you have a subjective fever and you have a headache and you live in Collin County, you now meet the qualifications to be a probable COVID patient. It is remarkable how low the standard is now.”

Even worse, once a “probable” case was determined based on possibly unrelated subjective criteria, up to 15 people in possible contact with that “probable” case were also listed as “probable cases.” And “probable cases” were considered cases."

Can’t trust the numbers

19
boxmakingmachines 19 points ago +19 / -0

I don't trust anything I see about this stuff anymore.

Is Covid a thing? Yes.

Is it dangerous to 99.5% of the population? No.

I don't trust a single thing reported by the MSM at this point.

This is why the President needs to message this out of the WH. He needs to supplant Fauci, the saboteur, and bring in a group of credentialed medical experts who can present real data cogently and answer media questions. The messaging on Covid-19 has been terrible, largely because we have Fauci, the CDC, and the FDA undermining the President. We had no idea the deepstate had overtaken the medical bureaucracy.

We had no idea the deepstate had overtaken the medical bureaucracy.

In retrospect, we should have known all along. I mean, just look at the abomination that was ObamaCare. These people are all in this together.

I love Ron Paul.

Pulled me into politics with his hope and reason and simple message of American liberty.

19
YourDaddyKnowsBest [S] 19 points ago +19 / -0

simple message of American liberty.

It is simple … professional politicians screwed it up

11
christianknight 11 points ago +11 / -0

He truly was ahead of his time. Shame the media was able to suppress his message. He had thousands at his rallys..in California. Liberals came in droves and at the time they still knew the globalists were bad.

empiretc 26 points ago +26 / -0

it really sucks. it looks like they are slowly getting things in order to shut Texas down again. They closed the bars and beaches last week. This week, all the banks closed their lobbies and restaurants were ordered to operate at 25%. If you are in public, you have to wear a mask. this sucks.

A helluva lot of places are ignoring it.

2
RS34ME 2 points ago +2 / -0

I saw on a local McKinney NextDoor board where police were actually writing tickets for non mask wearers.

2
Shhhhhut_the_hell_up 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nextdoor is as reliable for trustworthy info as TikTok and Facebook. People post fearmongering bullshit on there all the time.

1
RS34ME 1 point ago +1 / -0

Very true! I take everything with a grain of salt, but in this case I do believe it.

The McKinney mayor is a democratic, although he keeps it hidden online pretty well. I can very well see him ordering the chief of police to mandate this rule to the city’s fullest extent as nauseating as it is.

BTW, McKinney started mandating masks before Gov. Abbott issued his mandate.

So glad Dr Paul is still with us. The GOP did him so wrong in 08' and in 12' picking rino romney over an American Veteran and Statesman

Reminds me that our enemy is not just on the left.

Once we defeat these communists and self proclaimed marxists it will be RINO SEASON!

We need money out of politics.

The only lobbying that should be going on is when people from your district show up in the lobby to drag your sorry ass out for misrepresenting them.

Also, friends, I looked at the numbers from April until this week directly from the Texas health board website, and although total tests are going up, hospitalizations and deaths are both going down as a percentage. Which means, this is all panic and fear, and all the libs who keep screaming "listen to the science" are the ones picking fake statistics to make it appear worse than it is. Unfortunately, our state politicians are buying into the fear and making terrible policy decisions based off of it.

Yet every headline about Texas for the last two days is "hospitals are bursting at the seams! They'll collapse in two weeks! It's Trump's fault; here's why"

7
mechdork 7 points ago +7 / -0

Relax. it's because younger people are getting it now. totally because they go to bars. rest assured that it has nothing to do with the protesters.

3
Yippy 3 points ago +3 / -0

PBS is explaining it this way, all of the recent spikes of Covid-19 in the black and brown communities are not due to the anti police protests and rioting. They are happening because these people are predominately in the essential workers jobs. 🤦‍♂️

Hospitals were obviously losing tons of money... Now they are billing the govt. for "COVID" patients... The govt. guarantees payment!!!! Consider that a good amount of people don't pay their medical bills even with normal circumstances.... They even get paid for illegals..... Of course Hospitals would take advantage!!!

4
YourDaddyKnowsBest [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Of course Hospitals would take advantage!!!

Yep. Who can blame them. But now the numbers are off kilter. !!!
