The McKinney mayor is a democratic, although he keeps it hidden online pretty well. I can very well see him ordering the chief of police to mandate this rule to the city’s fullest extent as nauseating as it is.
BTW, McKinney started mandating masks before Gov. Abbott issued his mandate.
I saw on a local McKinney NextDoor board where police were actually writing tickets for non mask wearers.
