Have media companies declare political affiliation when registering as media.

Everybody has biases. Force them to admit this when writing "news". That way, you can call ignorant bigots just that, as it highlights the fact they ONLY read "news" from one side of the political spectrum.

Diversify knowledge and watch the leftist cult crumble as they can't survive a population of independent thinkers.

You make some good points.

I may have a few different (perhaps a little controversial thoughts on that).

Since Big Tech is essentially erasing education where it is very hard to research and “news” is allowed to be “just opinions” (OANN & Rachel Meadow, as just one example)...

One may view this in a way that a bimodal distribution of actual knowledge occurs with the population where one knows and understands things incredibly better than the other that parrots the propaganda fed to them everyday. It certainly becomes a problem when ignorant people have irrational feelings that are not based upon facts, but rather what they view as society, social norms, and various institutions. However, the other knows how to find certain things quickly, efficiently, and uses the tools of almost the entire sum of human knowledge at the tap of their fingertips.

Force them legally. I'm a little ignorant in the intricacies of laws regarding media operations but if the republicans grew a spine, couldn't they in theory force their hand? It avoids the dangerous precedent of trying to FORCE them to tell the truth, rather instead highlights their inherent bias of not telling the truth...and hopefully the American public is smart enough to recognize that so long as it's pointed out to their faces that one side tends to lie more than the other.
