I just am so frustrated. BLM is making me distrustful and threatened by black people that I normally would smile at and greet warmly without a second thought. Now I’m worried. I’ve seen neighborhoods not far from mine be destroyed.
If they wanted to create racial harmony they sure failed miserably.
I try to treat everyone the same until they give me a reason not too. Call me naive, but everyone deserves respect until they dont. Keep the individual in mind irregardless of what "tribe" they belong to.

imo this, prejudices if accurate can be helpful for analysing political movements etc and keeping your children protected (eg keeping them away from loonies), but not dealing with individuals. Don't let your guard down around someone who belongs to a 'harmless' group.
