Patriot is just a MVN (Mobile Virtual Network) carrier that uses sprint (Tmobile just bought them). So, if there is some plan to log IP's TMobile would have them anyway. Patriot does give money to conservative causes, but they still pay Tmobile for their service and they support liberal causes. So it isn't really a win in my book, just not as bad. Unfortunately I have to be on ATT or Verizon to get decent service where I live.
