Don’t have fertility issues but was browsing my coverage for some other stuff and went down a rabbit hole. I have really really good health insurance that is probably better than 99% of Americans so I’m sure it’s true for everyone else. This is honestly super sad considering I have several coworkers that battled with infertility and spend THOUSANDS of dollars out of pocket to finally have their children. But they’ll pay for you to mutilate your body and even fly you to have the procedure done. Unbelievable.

Paying for sex changes and abortions is madness, but why is sterilization mixed with them? Lots of married men and women have vasectomies or tubal ligations if they don't want more children. Is this a thing some people actually oppose here?
Edit to add: if they're going to pay for sex changes, they should pay, at least for a period of time, for fertility treatments.
Sterilizing white people is part of the white genocide.
Why would someone need that, when contraception is available and effective?
It's a political statement. They hope to get some young white couple with their anti-child propagation.
Many women cannot take hormonal birth control. There are many side effects, and I see nothing wrong with a woman preserving her health by having tubal ligation after she's born her children. The overwhelming majority of vasectomies and tubal ligations are performed on those who've already had their families. Frankly, sterilizing some libtard bitch, regardless of race, sounds pretty good to me considering that it would almost certainly prevent several abortions.
There are other methods of birth control, with no side effects. The coil, for instance.
Having had an IUD that almost killed me, you are totally wrong.
Conservatives aren't against those treatments existing, in general they are against it being forced to be provided via group insurance - like fertility treatments they should be paid through your own hard work or covered by an extra voluntary plan. The main reason insurance has become so expensive is because every year the treatment coverage list grows significantly.
People should be free to support whatever level of coverage they agree with in their insurance and should be able to pick and choose
I agree with this and agree with being able to pick and choose your level of coverage. I just didn't understand why vasectomies were being lumped in with sex changes and abortions.
Why should your co workers pay for your barren womb treatments when there's so many children needing to be adopted?
Edit to add: I guess you didn't bother to read my original edit where I said they should pay for your treatment, but since you responded to me with such unneeded hostility, this is the response you get.
Its probably because those procedures they cover are rare (except abortion) but fertility and invetro are much more common. The rarer the procedure the lower the expected cost even if its expensive. So they can make the policy look better by having it offer more things while the policy only goes up a few cents or dollars for all the stuff added in because it's so unlikely for people to use it. Still a terrible thing to promote those things.
Yes you should be able to add a rider to any plan to cover what YOU WANT....LIke, I dont know, the pre-Obummer plans? Granted they had different levels, but YOU HAD A CHOICE. Now its a one size fit all.
Imagine if auto or home insurance was like that? Consumer costs would go through the roof (no pun intended)
