That I remember, the last great "reparation" was what happened after WW I when France demanded that Germany pay for all the damage it had caused. (I realize i'm oversimplifying but the basics were just that) - The currency of unreasonable "reparations" is usually hot lead.

I think the "green energy movement" is the biggest scam, but this could be a close second.
