It's just a plasma in the center of a toroidal field. It's obvious to someone familiar in arts and the patent would be rejected on those grounds.

All that arcing, wasted energy.

Additional: all the "metalic gold" appearance is just sputtered copper. You can see he uses a ball of copper in the center.

Dude is really reaching.

How much thrust does it produce?

How much thrust does it produce?

12 gigafeet per square Kelvin

Holy shit!

Couple that with Doc's Flux Capacitor...

Kono, we can go back to 1988!

tl;dr: I'm not saying this device is shit. I'm saying he doesn't know what he made and has no idea if it is any good at doing what he says it'll do. But he claims it's revolutionary because he was guided by the spirit.

Brother-pede... he didn't know that this was sputtered copper. Anyone, that has worked with plasma for any period of time would know this was sputtered copper.

He doesn't have the education or observational capacity to understand his device.

I have been making crazy plasmas, just like this for semiconductor applications most of my life (before I decided to actually be an entrepreneur - but I still have lots of plasma processes that I use to make my devices). We used to make these types of plasmas (sharp spike in center of toroid) for flat panel TVs before TFT was a thing.

Without reading or viewing any additional information he has published, I'd guess he has a toroidal copper coil behind the bowl that he puts rf onto to produce a rotating magnetic field which also provides the power to ionize the gas (which seems to be nitrogen with a little argon mixed in).

He displays two "modes" in the video, he's just flipping anode and cathode.

He claims this comes from "visions" and alludes to the divine. He's pushing an agenda.

Without publishing thrust, he's just fishing (probably for gullible investors).

I have many hundreds of white papers with thousands of citations. I have nearly a hundred patents... patents that allow us to communicate on this medium (not saying, "if it wasn't for me there would be no internet," - just saying my solutions are now industry standard for long haul, metro, FTTH, and data center applications... oh... and CATV.)

One of those ideas came to me in the shower. It's not divine inspiration (although I love me some Jesus) it's because I'm a clever mother fucker.

You can see some of my most recent work in Nature ( https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-020-16265-x )

All this being said... he may be onto something: publish trust numbers.
