It kills me to hear black people use Uncle Tom as a slur. He IS the hero of the story. He was a stellar example of Christian virtue. He was wise and valiant. And he dies protecting others who have escaped from slavery. His fictional character was so compelling, it changed our nation. But LOTS of black people today hate his guts, because he didn't murder a million white people, burn a city to the ground, get twenty "bitches" pregnant and sell boatloads of drugs.

Yeah, I never got this either. The guy helped slaves escape.

That's the issue. Anyone who helps blacks escape the Democrat plantation is considered a bad guy by those same Dems.
