Are you registered to a party, or unaffiliated? NJ has a closed primary, so they would only send you an actual ballot if you are registered to a party.

Polling stations were reduced by 50%. You should still be able to vote in person somewhere. It may not be your normal polling location because they consolidated districts.

We filled out a paper ballot 5 mins ago. The woman said as long as all info on top information sheet is filled out, your vote will be counted as if you went into a booth!

Yours will be counted once, the dems will be counted as many times as they need. This is practice for the general

You have to specifically register to vote by mail. It’s not the same as registering to vote. So, they sent you the application to verify that you are in fact you before they send you an actual ballot. I’ve been registered to vote by mail for years because I was on the road for work during the election. I had to fill out an application before they would send me a ballot.

All registered repubs/dems should get a mail in ballot but you can go to polling place in your town n fill out the same ballot seal it and hand it in

I just voted in NJ. We received mail in ballot weeks ago and a mailer w name n address of our IN PERSON voting place last week. It a paper ballot you fill out at voting place. Each town has 1 place to vote...usually at first aid or borough hall. We voted in person n got to keep the pen. Everyone who was there...workers n voters all said they were voting Trump!

All paper ballots at polling place get counted unless you don't fill out all the info on the info sheet

ElderPede here: That's all I can stands, cause I can't stands nomore!

anyone want to start a fund to move old ElderPede away from friggin NeW JeRsEy? I've lived here all my life and it's been goin downhill for the last 50 years. Some times I feel like I live in a different country. Now they want to steal my damn VOTE? They don't believe in the Constitution. They steal every dime we have. Now they want to steal our last defense?

God help us!

I was born and raised in NJ and I'm so glad I friggin left. I lived an hour outside of NYC and everyone is an asshole over there.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yeah, I had the chance to leave 38 years ago but because of my in-laws, I had to make the decision to stay and take care of them. As it is now, I'm too old and broken to give a rat's furry ass. They can elect the anti-christ for all I care. (they probably would if he revealed himself... lmao!)

I finally switched my registration from independent to republican and of course there was a problem with my application that I need to go fix in person, must be a coincidence!

Go to your polling location and vote. The locations are open, the media just isn’t reporting it.

It is NOT all mail in primary voting today.

There are 4 polling stations open in my town in Middlesex County out of 5.

Will be voting for DJT for R candidate later this morning.

I changed affiliation to R from Independent so I can vote in our (fucked) closed primaries.

AngelMark 5 points ago +5 / -0

We went from I to R to vote in primary too. We will switch back to I Nov 4, 2020

Registered as Independent sure cuts down on the mailbox clutter.

I take in my neighbor's (Dem) mail. Their mailers are despicable. ACLU, SPLC, Bloomberg's no guns, Bonnie Watson Coleman's propaganda and R hit pieces. I need a shower after emptying that mailbox.

Murphy made it all mail-in voting.

Not true. There are a limit amount (at least one in each town) of polling places open today. Find yours, grab your lady pede, and get out there and vote!
