I'm worried that Black Americans will be feeling the negative effects of actions like these for generations caused by a few idiots. I've met so many people that are looking at their black neighbors differently, and not in the good way.

One black colleague of mine said something to the effect of "Well, if they are afraid, they will finally listen."

Here's the thing people forget, humans have a tendency to find a way to kill off anything they are afraid of. I'm worried this is all going to foster violence and actual discrimination (not made up garage nooses) for decades to come.
