I'm starting to lose a little hope fellow pedes. I thought for sure that logic would prevail and that people would see that covid wasn't as big a deal as made out to be. Instead, my county just announced a mandatory mask order.
I'm so tired of feeling like my household is the only one standing up against a barrage from my government, my church (mandatory masks), my social media feed, and my friends. When did people stop thinking for themselves?
I'm voting for Trump this fall because even if I don't believe he's perfect, I believe that God gave him a job to do and he's doing the best job I've ever seen. Before March 12th, I was at 100% likely Trump win in a landslide. Now? Based on the extreme capitulation I've seen from nearly everyone around me, I wonder if they would vote for Stalin if they were told that it was "loving your neighbor" or "would save one black person from police brutality".
Agreed, they try this demoralisation tactic everywhere in the west, they did it with Brexit too, hell they even did it with NZ's last pm and he was centre-right. I'm not in America but a guy I met here recently was so relieved when he met me because he felt like the only one in the entire country that felt the way he did. There are just enough useful idiots in many places to give the illusion of being alone in a sea of insanity. The harder and louder they fight, the more desperate they are.
Mind sharing a little context on how bad 1968 was?
That was all 1968? Damn, yeah, this the kind of thing I'd love to have learnt in history class, it'd be a useful lesson for people from any country, we only had the bits about MLK and Kennedy getting assassinated and Nixon only gets mentioned in regard to Watergate. Granted it might be taught better in the US, but looking at the idiots that have overtaken academia I'd be surprised if it was taught well today.
I've also had the impression they're losing hard and they know it, if the dems have any chance of 'winning' it'll be by voter fraud and other nefarious means. This is why they're working so hard to discourage Trump voters and it's why every old trick is reappearing again, it's no coincidence things were wholly silent on BLM outside of 2016 + 2020, as in: election years. They're going to pull every stunt in book until Nov, a friend of mine's already bet they'll try at least one more sexual assault claim campaign vs Trump or someone close to him.
I spoke to a stranger in the DMV line who told me he thought the COVID reaction was a bit of an overreaction. I went to the local Home Depot and overheard a black man jokingly ask an associate, "Do you have your M16 ready?" when the riots were in full swing. I went to Big 5 to buy weights and the cashier said gyms were closed so "they can keep us fat and lazy". Speaking of Big 5, when I visited the one near me a week ago it was out of shotguns and 9mm, and running low on .45 ACP.
Even though I live in a Commiefornia in a county that voted for Shilary, I see a new American flag pop up every day. People are waking up, and as we keep speaking up--whether big or small--we can make a change.
Yes, my social media is also annoying, but remember that your moderate and conservative friends have better things to do than read/respond to Occupy Democrats all day.
If you want to red pill people, it's better to do it face to face. You don't even have to say anything. It could be as simple as wearing an American flag cap. Or you could go full mad lad like the guy I saw wearing a shirt that said "Vote Democrat. Kill Babies. Ban Guns. Higher taxes. No borders."
Our “leaders” are in on the fix. Even republicans don’t give a shit about the significance of masking orders and aren’t at all interested in the underlying science. Average people however are becoming more and more awake by the day, especially as the left pushes hard to normalize radicalization and vilify traditional American values

I have the same sense that you do, but that's why we need to PUSH through.
