Communism is just one variant of Leftism. All Leftists, including libertarians, will get there eventually.
TIL I'm a "leftist" for opposing slavery, abortion-as-birth-control, and communism, as evil; and for supporting the US Constitution, the Founding Fathers, free markets, entrepreneurialism, more laissez-faire capitalism, guns for all, a rollback of 2nd Amendment infringements, and people being allowed to pursue life, liberty, and happiness on their own terms without the approval of authoritarian collectivist government stooges.

I reserve the right, though, to disagree strongly with certain "Libertarian" tenets, such as open-borders immigration, the unbacked assertion that most foreigners who come here today are peaceful and loving and care about America (ha ha ha!) and the obligation to wait until we are attacked before using military force. I can't let anyone or any group write the entire guidebook for my viewpoints.
