Yep. If you're gonna move in on a guy leveling 7.62 and 20/30 rd mags, and you've got a 9mm drawn, you better have someone with a good FOV on the area directing you on comms.
I still find the video footage horrifying. The guy moved like he had a lot of experience and those cops had no chance.
