I'd have to agree, that man was put on earth to protect people. He is the stuff that heroes are made of.
The TRUE heroes are those going about their daily lives in the most humble of manners, not seeking the limelight (I'm talking to YOU KraperDick) - like this gentleman, PAT TILLMAN, et al. THIS story needs to be wall-to-wall coverage on MSM but won't even get a MENTION except locally.

Hell of a catch. Definitely deserving of recognition. As an aside, I feel badly for the children's mother passing away. I recently went through an apartment building fire, and had to crawl out past the bulk of the fire to escape. I can't imagine being trapped inside....A terrible, scary way to go. I hope the kids can recover mentally from it.

Thank God it was him there and not Kaepernick, probably would have dropped the poor kid and then blamed the fire for racism.
