I was never full "TDS" but around 2016 I was pretty skeptical like "oh well, just another Republican, here we go..." I could tell the hysteria was unnecessary but I thought he was just probably a douchey rich-guy narcissist. I had low expectations, to put it simply.
I have come around completely. I love this man as POTUS. I knew the MSM was full of shit my whole adult life, but I've never seen the media-machine go so blatantly overboard with their obsession to make a good man seem evil.
I'm excited to go help elect him for his second term. He's a good guy and anyone who watches real videos of him talking, not little cherry-picked sentence-fragments selected out of context to make him look bad and spun into a fabricated narrative, anyone can see he loves this country dearly and all the people in it.
I really have had my opinion changed completely about this man, and not by people telling me what to think. The moments when I could feel my opinions changing inside my head are always when I've listened to him speak. Just un-interrupted footage of him talking to Americans. Even this clip, after this student speaks, just the brief way he thanked him, you can hear how his heart goes out to this kid and wants to do everything he can to get him back on a path to success.
I can't wait to vote Trump! And then maybe Paul/Carlson 2024!!

Agree but race should never have to be stated, but it’s where we are today. He kept his cool too - even smart people suffer horrible stage freight and this is televised and he’s speaking directly to the president - he probably had it rehearsed but it came off like a casual comment which is exactly what you want.
