Take the money away From National Propaganda Radio IE(national public radio) ,They are supposed to give the truth in news not commentaries and Propaganda get rid of them they are all foreigners.I'm editing this to read they are not of United States birth and all they do is criticize our nation go back if it is so bad

It's terrible, a non profit but gets rich off a donations and grants
One time there was a woman one saying children can identify with their "true gender" as young as 3! Possibly even before they can speak! It's insanity!
Honest question: when you say defund, what does that mean? They're funded by donations and sponsorships mostly, and zero government money from what I see on their website

In addition to Form 990, NPR and NPR Foundation are each required to file form 990T to report any unrelated business income.**** ****start taxing this multi billion dollar propaganda company owned and operated by foreign entities, they lie to get their donations and don't pay taxes on anything, So we are funding it I would also say stop donating to it.But that's just me
Hey, thanks for your reply and apologies for the delay in my reply. This is definitely helpful to understand the concept of defunding people are talking about. What I am getting out of this is that we can't blame them for being a 501c3, it's a smart move on their part even though an obvious way to go about it, and it seems like the change to be made is less about 'How do we target this not-for-profit that we disagree with' and more about how to we strategically modify the 990 & 990T to increase transparency and accountability for accepting foreign money and how that money is used. It would not be ideal for say Saudi Arabia to hire a US citizen to found a nonprofit and then send a billion of their oil money to flood the airwaves with anti-US propaganda and limit the transparency of that arrangement. America should protect itself of ideological warfare from anti-American nations.
I agree with the idea that they spew fear-mongering marxism garbage all day, but, at the end of the day we have 1st amendment and our country was founded on dissent from the establishment, which is parallel to what they're doing and not a bad thing.
How do you think we should we should manifest the 'defunding' of NPR & similar orgs?
I would also say that tax exempt charities are not allowed to represent a political point using UN-taxed charitable funds, I be-leave that's in the tax code, hopefully there's a CPA that can school me on that thanks in advance
