"No evidence has been provided that Gen. Soleimani specifically was planning an imminent attack against U.S. interests, particularly in Iraq, for which immediate action was necessary and would have been justified," Agnes Callamard, U.N. special rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary execution, said in her report submitted to the U.N. Human Rights Council on Monday."

Except he was subject to a UN Resolution that stated he couldn't leave Iran:

"We remind all Member States that they are obligated to prevent Soleimani’s entry into, or transit through, their territories pursuant to Resolution 2231."

Can't drone strike him in Baghdad if he's honoring the UN Resolution. The UN can eat a bowl of dicks.

In 1985, Callamard received her undergraduate degree from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Grenoble. In 1995, she received a PhD in Political Science from the New School for Social Research in New York.

She is a hardcore feminist
