You're damn right, Gaddafi did the typical evil approach of pose as the good guy while being bad. You get this with gangs and cartels too, they sponsor all these social projects in their local communities while hacking people up and selling their organs.

Don't get me wrong, I think killing him was done solely for the purpose of creating a massive mess and flooding Europe with refugees, but I'm not under any illusions he was a good guy. There may have been far worse dictators than the likes of him, but he was still a dictator. It's up to those countries to figure out democracy for themselves though imo, hell it took Germany two world wars and they're already back at it with the Fourth Reich that the EU is becoming.
