The Seahawks game where Richard Sherman picked him off and crashed their season was a key point.

His temper/leadership skills then came into the spotlight: If you can't rally the team in a sub-par season to at least care, then you simply aren't a "Top Tier, franchise-level" kind of QB.

They had to have had discussions with the scouts near immediately, because there's only two types of teams. Those with a franchise QB, and those looking for one.

Having the physical chops is only one piece. And then ... not having the physical chops certainly doesn't help...

No longer an nfl fan but Sherman's interview was epic.

Great post. I don't think they could do anything for me. Been too much the last 4 or 5 years.
