This guy was always trying to pretend to be something he wasn't - look at the baggy pants when everyone else in the family is wearing clothes that fit them. He's trying to fit in to the media stereotype of "what a black person is", over compensating his entire life trying to find his "blackness" since he was raised by a white family.
