It makes it harder to create an established entity, because they'd constantly need to recruit players as opposed to relying on celebrity status. That being said, I definitely do agree that the problem is a far deeper rooted one. I think the DNC and RNC need to be absolved..... Not sure how that'd work, though.....
Instead of parties, everybody could run as an independent, but that in itself poses a few issues. The establishment can just flood the ballots with 10, 15, 20, or more highly funded faux candidates to create the illusion of choice - a controlled opposition of sorts. That being said, it's not like they don't already do this, but at least with two parties with their own filter of candidates, these party lines cater more directly to at least two prevalent schools of thought rather than the same idea thanks to bullshit campaign funding.
This is gonna sound nutty, but it's just a very rough idea. Just throwing shit to see what sticks. But what if candidates ran on issues a through z anonymously, then Americans were polled nationwide to select which issues are most pressing and how they'd personally like it dealt with? Then the candidates (then-anonymous) that would make it through to the primaries would be based around how many of these key issues they listed they'd campaign on? Like I said, just a thought that clearly needs some work.
It's these folks that are on the centrist side of the left that are going to be their undoing. They are going to realize that all the BS that they've been fed about the right is straight up fake news. They may not agree with us on every issue, but they don't like being played for fools JK Rowing is in this position now. She's not going to be our friend, but she's not going to support our enemies either. And I can live with that.

Conservatives usually just want to be left alone, but at some point the sleeping giant needs to rise up. He calls out Republicans all the time and the fact that liberals go balls to the walls and Republicans when they have power do nothing. Democrats will pass bills and edicts and sit back until supreme court challenges them, they even taunt them. And Republicans just say "it would pass the the supreme court" . If it's the right thing to do, then do it. Ban abortion in your state governor, make the supreme court take up the case. And if you you lose reelection at least we know where the American people are. He's firs and brimstone. I don't always agree but he's good to listen to.
The reason why we are in this current mess is thanks to years of passivity from the Republicans. Yes, Democrats are evil, but Reps let them do as they please.

We can say “republicans aren’t doing shit” till we’re blue in the face, but showing that a non-political actor & a leftist nut job are doing what we elected republicans to do, better than the republicans could do it if they actually fucking did, is eye opening.
