Hi everyone this is my first post on this site. Just a quick background of me I have been politically influenced because I lived in California growing up then moved to Ohio and will soon be going to the University of Oregon. I'm more progressive/liberal on social issues because I support gay rights, believe in climate change, support of public education, and Asian Awareness stuff. But I'm more conservative on 2A where I'll defend your right to own a gun, but personally won't own one, I'm Pro-Life but will make the exception to cases of rape, incest, and underage pregnancies, and now I'm anti-war bring our troops home. This is the first election cycle where I'll be able to vote. In the primary cycle, I was a Tulsi supporter because I felt like she had a good message. But what got me off the fence as a moderate was that the democratic party went so far to the left in such a short time that felt politically homeless. When I look to the left with a lot of my "friends" just pushing woke left trash that is regurgitated posts on Instagram where they only cite the ACLU and Feminist Instagram pages. And when I challenge their idea they call me racist, sexist, etc. Then when I look to Trump supporters they can actually have a rational conversation where I can change my mind on many issues. But what got me to "jump off the fence" was when my friend said that I should vote Biden because I'm Asian after I posted a Free Hong Kong post. And I got fed up and said that I'm not the Democrat's pet and I don't need a white liberal telling me what to do. Even though I disagree with Trump on some issues I fully support him now. Thank you if you read this post and look forward to having some political conversations.

Faggotry is destructive to society. In sixty years we have gone from homosexuals keeping it in the closet to today when the children of leftists are encouraged to undergo gender reassignment and hormone change therapy. This is not how society thrives.
The climate changes. Man can have an effect when multiplied by 7 billion. Ice ages will still happen. Plants need at least 100 ppm of CO2 to photosynthesize, so some carbon in the atmosphere is good. The sun's own cycles are the primary driver of climate change. Let's all be good stewards of what we control while we are here. Don't be an asshole to the planet.
Public education is a minimum threshold. It's better when your parents and immediate community care enough to ensure you are an educated and civilized person. Equal opportunity for all, and merit scholarships for the motivated. If you don't care to better yourself, don't make yourself my burden.
Asian aware? Cool, so you're a nationalist of sorts. I'm a nationalist too. You won't own a gun, well then you're a bit of a fool if you find yourself in a situation you don't expect. I don't need you to defend my right to own weapons. They are granted to me by natural law. Pro-life, anti-war - okay.
Tulsi was never going anywhere in the Democrat org, she didn't conform to their narrative. She was an odd duck.
I feel sorry for the people of Hong Kong. They are caught in the grindwheels of the Marxist machinery of the CCP. It cannot end well for them.
Vote for who you think will make things better for America. gl;hf
Like I can see being gay is a small part of your personal identity, but to not go over the top with it, many of my friends are bi and they have their bisexual flag but it's not all they're about. But when people make it their only personality trait then it feels overbearing.
I do agree with you on climate change.
I grew up in a suburb where the public school was filled with Asians, Indians, Upper Middle-class folks and it helped me grow as a person. But I do feel that parenting has become too coddled and shouldn't be overbearing and everything shouldn't be given when demanded.
Being a second-generation Filipino I want to keep my heritage going as grandparents taught me, but I just feel that Asain accomplishments and issues aren't covered as much as other minority groups in America and would like to educate people on Hong Kong, the Philippines Terror Bill, and helping with my local Filipino community. But I wouldn't go as far as identifying myself as a nationalist, but as an American who has Filipino ethnic origin, if it's confusing, I'm in the middle of a video game.
I feel at the point where I move out and into the real world and gain and a larger sense of responsibility for myself or my family then I would research into owning a gun, but not right now. But I just see many people who say guns kill people and they want to take away people's guns I want to defend 2A as people are anti-gun after all of the school shootings.
Then for Tulsi, this might seem kind of dumb, but when I look at her she looks just like me and a half white, half Pacific Island person. And it's similar to the Black community with Obama, they saw a Black man running and wanted to support someone similar to them, that's where I stood with her.
