Hi everyone this is my first post on this site. Just a quick background of me I have been politically influenced because I lived in California growing up then moved to Ohio and will soon be going to the University of Oregon. I'm more progressive/liberal on social issues because I support gay rights, believe in climate change, support of public education, and Asian Awareness stuff. But I'm more conservative on 2A where I'll defend your right to own a gun, but personally won't own one, I'm Pro-Life but will make the exception to cases of rape, incest, and underage pregnancies, and now I'm anti-war bring our troops home. This is the first election cycle where I'll be able to vote. In the primary cycle, I was a Tulsi supporter because I felt like she had a good message. But what got me off the fence as a moderate was that the democratic party went so far to the left in such a short time that felt politically homeless. When I look to the left with a lot of my "friends" just pushing woke left trash that is regurgitated posts on Instagram where they only cite the ACLU and Feminist Instagram pages. And when I challenge their idea they call me racist, sexist, etc. Then when I look to Trump supporters they can actually have a rational conversation where I can change my mind on many issues. But what got me to "jump off the fence" was when my friend said that I should vote Biden because I'm Asian after I posted a Free Hong Kong post. And I got fed up and said that I'm not the Democrat's pet and I don't need a white liberal telling me what to do. Even though I disagree with Trump on some issues I fully support him now. Thank you if you read this post and look forward to having some political conversations.

Not that you'll listen but Climate Change is a bigger crock than Wu Flu. That is all.
Yes, the Rona virus should be taken seriously as it's a big problem and most people are responsible when handling. The reason why it's so bad is that people are trusting the media rather than just consulting with their personal physician. But Climate Change is something that will have a greater impact in the future for us and our kids.
I would put all the claims of big political importance on the table for critical examination. Part of the way leftist ideologies work is that they rely on package deal ideology sets that are unchallenged. I have a lot of skepticism about human impact on climate as a result. When you actually dig into the history of the issue and the massive amount of distortion/fraud used to push it - you might have less confidence in the hypothesis.
Realclimatescience.com might be a good place to explore alternate hypotheses.
No, they're both complete propaganda and not a problem at all.
It's not as extensive as what the media says, but we shouldn't go full eco-fascist to "save the planet" but we should look more into Nuclear, Hydro, solar, and wind energy to find a balance between fossil fuels and renewable energy until we can find a cheap way and produce mass power to make renewable energy the main way to go. Coronavirus isn't as hyped up as it was, but if your sick just in general don't go near people, and cover yourself if you are. Even in the past if I was coughing and sneezing I'm covering my face due to courtesy for others.
