Trump, better than anyone else, knows there was no legitimate reason for the FBI to investigate or interview Roger Stone in the first place, making anything that came out of the bullshit investigation invalid. If Stone spends even one minute in jail, I'm going to be very upset with Trump.
That pardon better be already written and ready to be presented the morning that Stone is required to report to prison.
Trump may have to wait until after the election to pardon Roger Stone.
I know that the DemocRATS and their media make everything Trump says and doesn't say, and everything Trump does and doesn't do into a scandalous, malicious, racist, fascist, etc. big deal, but pardoning Stone before the election would just be a gift to the left. They WANT Trump to pardon Stone before the election. That's why, while judges are releasing real criminals under the excuse of COVID-19, the Stone case judge refused to postpone the date he'd have to start serving his sentence.
What they have done to Roger Stone is a horrible injustice and he deserves to be pardoned, but trump being reelected is more important. At this point, if trump waits until November 4th to pardon Stone, he would be in jail for just about three and a half months.
It's enough that everything that trump cannot control will be thrown at him until the day of the election, and I'm sure that there is heavy fire coming. Everything that can get in the way of trump being reelected should be avoided because we are about to lose America forever if Trump is not reelected.
They should just give the inmates masks. I hear those things are fi*king magical. That's why more and more jurisdictions are making them mandatory. Right?
Roger Stone was convicted for lying about Trump's Russian Collusion.
Stone's lawyers wanted to defend him by showing that said collusion never happened, therefore he couldn't have lied about it.
The Judge forbid Stone's lawyers from talking about whether the collusion actually happened. The trial proceeded on the assumption that it did.
It was later shown, elsewhere, that there was no Trump-Russia collusion.
Stone's conviction, for aiding in a crime that never happened, was allowed to stand.
That's not justice.
