This site's got enough bullshit and memes etc...which is great for the kids; the next generation...BUT it desperately needs some more REAL political science, a dash of 'scholarship' and a few scoops. Reckon a 'tips jar' would solve these problems. Sunday gunday could morph into a survivalists thread--i.e how to run yr laptop AND make a cappuccino, without a battery, hiding in a hole in the deep forest...

That's the whole sub-community thing. I will say that it'd be interesting to have a separate area for TDW where people can dig deeper into issues or maybe even post their own original op-eds of some sort without the normal churn of the main pages.
nah, I'd just be happy to do a workshop here for any pedes interested. We could do a lecture and some readings. Just for anyone interested in either a basic understanding of the ancients (Plato, Aristotle, Augustine and Aquinas) or the moderns (Machiavelli, Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau). It would be an insane amount of extra work and I'd need a way to do it without doxxing myself, but if there was some interest I'd do it.

Alexa is used because it's an important metric. It's not as accurate as Google analytics but it's publicly available.
It tracks usage by browser extensions: grammerly, WordPress,Evernote, etc...
