The Saturday before Father's Day I started running a fever and had symptoms much like a mild stomach flu (headache, nausea, dizziness, and diarrhea. No vomiting). Fever got up to 102 but only lasted about 12 hours. Woke up the next day feeling better, but still had stomach issues. Monday I went to get a COVID test done just in case (also to keep my nurse of a mother from nagging me). Get the results Tuesday afternoon with a positive result much to my surprise. Got everything setup at home so I could still work expecting to relapse or my wife and kids to come down with it too.

NOTHING, NADDA, ZILTCH
Tested again this past Monday and came back Negative.
The good thing now is I can donate my blood plasma with a bonus!

This is why I'm terrified to buy auto parts anymore. Even the "brand name" stuff is made in China.
Harbor Freight Flu
Now listen here, harbor freight is really just rent to buy for tools.
You get a harbor freight tool and by the time it wears out you’ve justified the cost of actually buying the real thing.
I like this name the best
I need to buy a trailer tire from there. Noooooooo!
I'm willing to bet it was engineered in a CCP lab, and just like all things genetically modified, it is slowly reverting back to its natural state which is less deadly.
It can't chooch no more
It’s more than a bet, there’s a 2015 article in Nature Magazine where the abstract is basically “to prove that bat coronavirus can jump directly to humans from bats we created a chimeric virus by genetically fusing a bat virus with SARS and it can infect humans now.” One of the authors of that paper is the one who ran the p4 bio lab a few blocks from the wet market in Wuhan where the CCP claims this all started.
Huawei energy.
They probably made it out of the same crap they made all the garbage toilet paper that was the only thing we could find for months. Took two rolls to get the job done in one sitting.
This was the most resource heavy fucking economic destruction project ever. Could you imagine if that amount of money blown on this fucking case of the sniffles, towards literally anything else? This is a clear cut example of the "treatment" being worse than the disease. And either extremely incompetent or evil (both?) bureaucratic run healtcare decisions being made and this is supposed to make me feel good about "socialized" medicine? GTFOH.
Take a look at this data from the CDC:
https://i.imgur.com/tQkLfCh.jpg
This is the number of additional deaths per state in 2020 above the normal running average for the past few years. Frustratingly it only allows you to show up to 20 bars, so whether you sort by ascending or descending, it's not possible to see NY separate from the big lump representing the rest of the country. But even with this data we can see that excess deaths were occurring virtually everywhere, irrespective of how bad the COVID breakout was. People love to pretend that the excess deaths are because COVID deaths are being under-counted, but the fact that there were over 1,600 excess deaths happened in places like Idaho and Maine, which had hardly any cases of the disease, is proof that it's the lockdown that was killing people, not the virus. In fact, this chart shows that the lockdown probably killed more lives than it saved due to isolation, substance abuse, and people not getting preventative and elective medical procedures.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That perfectly describes it.
Gotta keep the NPCs out there in constant fear and paranoia!
CASES! CASES! CASES! MORE CASEEEESSSSSS!
Once this is done I'm thinking a fake alien invasion will be pushed or something.
Congratulations. I had it some months ago. A nagging dry cough that went on for weeks. I almost completely stopped smoking cigars during this time. Almost. I called in sick for work and stayed home. I lived. I am amazed at the number of people that dont know anyone that has had the Vid and assume you just die from it.
I get a lot of surprised looks from people when i tell them how bad it wasn't.
Lemmings have been brainwashed into thinking it's an instant death sentence.
If he's dead, then he's voting democrat. Whether he likes it or not!
God has WiFi!
Sorry to hear about the loss. One of the reasons I stuck with the quarantine is that my dad just finished cancer treatment for his prostate. However, I would have done the same thing if it was something different.
Convinced my wife had it in January. She works at a college and is around international students all the time. Right after Christmas break, in the middle of January, she gets a bad flu. Every symptom they’ve listed for Covid, down to the loss of taste and smell. Was tested for the flu and it was negative. She was over it in about a week. This means I was exposed to it as well but I never showed any symptoms at all. Millions of people had it and never knew what it was. Probably thought it was a cold. Sadly, many alive bought into the hysteria.
Funny you say that.. I experienced a weird flu-like sickness back in October. Fever/chills for a day then most severe symptoms went away. Seemed to get into my upper respiratory tract, and I had a cough for a few weeks after. Still went to work though as this was before Covid was known.
I am 99.999% sure I had it the week of valentines day. I was pissed because I had planned this nice weekend for me the misses. I started feeling sick Saturday, had a fever that night 102-103, last until Tuesday. Had a cough as well. Felt fine by Friday and had a great weekend. Wife never got sick either.
Had to put a hold on the ribs I was going to cook for all the dad's in my family. Sad times.
My dad thinks he had it just before christmas. Basically had a really bad flu, stayed in bed for a week, then was fine. I wouldn't doubt it.
Had it (49 yrs old) - mild cold symptoms (cough, sneezing, sniffles) with almost no fever but bonus symptoms of nasty smell/taste in my mouth and persistent heartburn for about a week.
Both my 84 yr parents got it. My mom was fine. After 12 days, my dad went to hospital when his blood oxygen saturation levels dropped to the 70's-80's and spiked a fever. Turns out his turned into pneumonia, which happens. Stayed in hospital on oxygen for a little over a week and is now home, doing great. He also suffers from Parkinson's, slight asthma and afib (pacemaker).
My wife and two daughters tested negative and never showed any symptoms...
I had it back in March. Didn't feel well for about 2 days. That was about it. I tell the terrified social media addicted types they will be better off to just get it and be done with it than to live in fear. Causes their brain to short circuit.
Not just social media but MSM in general. Constant fear porn on the news that has gotten to my parents. They follow the cases incessantly. That level of obsession is not healthy and I'm trying to get them to see the big picture. Fuck MSM
The real rate of contagion will never be known, but I think it is pretty low.
Thank you pede for contributing to population immunity!
Jimmie Johnson tested pos on Friday and had to miss the Noosecar race. Today he is already cleared.
Bubba the Racing Poo.
🤣
did you take anything to help recover? Vitamin C or D? Or Rx meds?
Gatorade, grape juice, and Jello. I just stayed hydrated. Thought it was the stomach flu.
My daughter got it a couple months back, that's essentially what she did as well. Took about five days to get over it. She's fine.
I was already on a Vitamin D sup, plus my regular Multi. I exercise everyday and eat Keto. So for me I kicked it pretty fast. If you are eat the SAD and don't take care of your self I think you have a harder time kicking it.
I think I had it back in February too. I thought it was the flu so I treated it the same way. Vitamin C and D3, zinc, elderberry extract and plenty of liquids.
Glad you're ok pede. This goes to show that this entire thing had nothing to do with science, and everything to do with politics.
Ya, it's a scam
Could have been just any other virus, and your test results were a false positive
Possible. They did test for other viruses and bacteria and those came back negative. I'll know for sure when the center where i donate blood plasma test for antibodies.
Get well soon Pede
wait this can't be right...we were told you'd be knocked out, barely able to breathe and in need of a ventilator! I am not buying it, my sisters, brothers, boyfriend, cousins, uncle, aunt who was in perfect health was in the hospital for 3 week and almost died! Why would WHO and CDC lie??? There are more cases then ever before! /S
Pretty sure you never had it. The test is not very accurate. They cover their ass both ways: It's negative... you may still have it... wut? It's positive: you have it... but you may just have the regular flu both are the same family of virus the test checks for. sooooooo....
I partially agree with you, but they emailed me the test results. They tested me for viruses and bacteria the covered two pages, even 4 other corona viruses. COVID 19 was the only one testing positive.
I'll honestly know for sure if I had it when Kedplasma verifies I have the antibodies.
I thought I had it too. Aching body, weak, probably had fever but didn’t check, all flu like symptoms, for 2 days, diarrhea one day, then bad cough and weird chest feeling for over a week. Doctor said he thought it was just a normal virus going around, didn’t even mention COVID or seem concerned about it. I was only tested for flu and it was negative. This was the week before the basketball tournaments started shutting down, so testing wasn’t as widespread. I took the antibody test 2 months later and it came back negative, so who knows
Back in late January my wife and I had these exact same symptoms. She actually went to work because the county where she teaches offers a $1000 bonus for not missing any days. At the time we had just visited her sister's family in a big city that has had a large number of cases. They were all sick. Her sister's coworker, who was sick in early January, tested positive for antibodies.
NOOOO, You had the common cold and tested for positive Coronavirus antibodies, which means absolutely nothing. Water, fruit and goats also test positive for Coronavirus. It's a made up thing and you're perpetuating a myth. A couple months back people were becoming hypoxic. I'm assuming it was due to a likely chemical attack. Or perhaps due to initial start of mass 5G network. I can't say. What I can say is YOU had a bad cold. Take your vitamins, drink water, eat healthy and maybe don't drink too much and you might never get a bad cold again!
Eating healthy, exercise, and good hydration practices is why I beat most viruses I catch. I'm saying this corona virus isn't as deadly as MSM would have us believe. They tested me for all other viruses and bacteria that produce the same symptoms and all came back negative.
Those deep nose swabs were hell.
It's a wonderful feeling to watch my kids go for the vegetable bin in the fridge when it's snack time. Of course if I don't buy the junk, they can't ask for it.
I think I got it March 17th by making and delivering face shields to a nursing home. Still sick. I couldn't get a test in March as I didn't qualify.
Have all sorts of symptoms. Fever, headaches, exhaustion, aches, loss of smell, conjunctivitis, tight chest and a few more that are less common for me.
I'm glad you recovered so nicely. I hope your blood helps someone out. Cheers.
Thanks, I've been donating plasma for years now. I know I have a healthy immune system and it doesn't hurt that it pays pretty well.
There was a span of like four days over the winter where my lung capacity was reduced. If I walked a flight if stairs my breath got short. That’s not at all the usual case for me. That was the only apparent symptom though and it passed
Had a close friend get it, he said the flu was so much worse.
Your friend is right. I got it about three weeks ago. Low-grade to moderate fever (100.7 at most) and a minor cough. The fever went away two days after my positive test. The ordinary viral flu I had a few years ago was ten times worse.
I actually caught the H1N1 flu the summer it spread. That put me out for a week.
Hello fellow H1N1'er. I caught it in a hospital waiting room. For me it was intense for a days or so then fine after that (small lingering symptoms). Matched the description of H1N1 at the time (short but intense). No where near the amount of hysteria there is now with COVID though.
Man, I wish my flu was short. Missed a whole week of work on my first year at my current job. Wife was pregnant with our 4th child, made it extra scary.
It really depends on the person, my wife and I got it. I'm 26 and she is 24. It is the sickest I've ever been in my life, I had to go to the hospital twice and couldn't eat a single bite of food for 9 days. I was severely dehydrated and unable to keep myself awake. I slept constantly, like 20 hours out of every day that passed I was asleep. I'm 3 weeks post initial testing and still have bad stomach symptoms and have had persisting low lung volume.
I was tested twice. Once on the 10th at urgent care and again on the 26th in emergency room. Both came back positive. I am feeling marginally better at this point, maybe like 35% but a lot of the symptoms I still have seem to come and go in phases. I find myself constantly being out of breath from basic tasks and my heart rate suddenly jumps to 120+. My lungs gurgle up a bunch of nasty shit and then I go back to normal in about half an hour.
Mainly for me at this point my biggest symptoms are GI related. I've had constant diarrhea and nausea. Eating has been really difficult. Vomiting every so often. Got zofran from ER to try and help but it doesn't touch the nausea/cramping I've got in my gut.
Overall this has been the hardest thing I've ever dealt with involving my health, and I've been through a lot of shit in my life so far. I wouldn't wish this shit on my worst enemies to be honest.
interesting, thanks for the perspective.
Out of curiosity, how was your health and diet prior? Do you take any vitamins?
When you were dehydrated did you up your water intake substantially ?
My health is good. I don't have any pre-existing conditions or ailments that would have made my situation worse than normal. I do take vitamins. I take daily multi-vitamins, Vitamin D, B and C supplements as well as Zinc, and I use a few other things as well.
My dad is a big health nut now and sends me a lot of stuff in the mail and had sent me a care package when all this had started with some of the things he uses, i've just recently added those into my daily intake.
I was dehydrated, I struggled to intake more liquids simply because of the vomiting, any time that I would drink more than about a half cup of fluids I would vomit it all up. So I had to be very careful about how much I drank at one time.
It was the same with food.
I had gotten about 2000ml of IV fluids at the emergency room and labs came back with moderate ketosis levels due to the fact I hadn't eaten in about a week and a half.
Vomiting is not a covid symptom so I wonder if you had something else at the same time?
Pretty bad experience either way dude, sorry that happened to you. Thanks for sharing.
Where do you get that? This is from the CDC. It definitely does cause vomiting. The Virus impacts your ACE II receptors. The gut has a HUGE amount of ACE II receptors.
COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Infected people have had a wide range of symptoms reported – from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
Fever or chills Cough Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing Fatigue Muscle or body aches Headache New loss of taste or smell Sore throat Congestion or runny nose Nausea or vomiting Diarrhea
But yeah man, it was awful. I am glad to be on the path to recovery, but the fact that I am one month out from when I first came down with symptoms and I still have lingering symptoms is just shit. I'm over it.
CDC symptoms poster: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/downloads/COVID19-symptoms.pdf
could be out of date?
Hope you get better soon
I'm pretty sure i had it in March. started out feeling like i had a cold/sinus infection but never had a fever over 99 for a day or so, did lose sense of taste and smell for a good week but was achy and got warm flashes but was tired all the time. this all lasted for a good week, felt fine after 2. lost some weight not eating much as a bonus. would not get a test since they're bs anyway and wasn't about to wind up on some "list"...
No reliable tests.
No way to know what you were or were not infected with.
Middle ages level peasant games. God wake us up please 🙏
I had a cold a couple weeks back, and didn't really think much of it, but I lost my sense of taste and smell for a few days which was weird. I've read that is a symptom of Covid, but I don't know if that is what I had as I haven't been tested and have no plans on doing do.
I'm amazed at how many elderly people test positive for this virus and literally nothing happens to them. It's almost as if the test kits are engineered to provide a desirable rate of false positive tests to help reinforce the narrative that this dangerous virus is spreading virulently!
Keep in mind we're still only testing for the genetic material of the virus, not the virus itself. Could have been covid, could have been a flu
I had it, got pneumonia, was hospitalized for 11 days. Damn near died of it, or at least certainly wanted to at the time. I don't have any comorbidities except being over 50.
M y wife had a case more like yours. She wants to donate plasma, if her antibodies are high enough (might not be, though).
Thinking of donating plasma myself. I damn well earned that right.
Do it a few times even if you don't have the necessary antibodies anymore. I've been donating for years and I've seen people pitch fits for not getting paid enough. They need more people with heart to donate.
Consider yourself lucky. I caught it 11 days ago and it has been a nightmare of unrelenting torture for me.
Wow! 12 hours? You got it really bad compared to me. Back in March, my fever lasted about an hour and I felt fine but got tested anyways because my wife is an ICU nurse, we have a baby who our parents see, etc. I had the most mild symptoms ever for a few days where normally I wouldn't even consider myself sick. It took 12 days to get told I was positive and by that point it had already passed. They basically said "you are positive, but since you dont have symptoms any more you no longer have it". The next day the number of cases in my town went up by 1. At the time there were only about 5 cases in my town.
Blood plasma = people juice
I'm juicy dude, they get 1600ml from me a week.
Anyone else tired of talking about this stupid virus? They've way overplayed their hand. Thinking Americans are "over it."
Go to CDC.gov and look at antibody testing. They cannot tell the difference between Covid and the regular cold virus that goes around that everyone forgot aboout.
They are trying to pull a fast one and go to war with the common cold. Luckily chloroquine and zinc are broad spectrum anti-virals.
Thankfully, my healthy body didn't need anti-virals.
The silver lining to all this may be that chloroquine and zinc or zinc ionophores in general will be a cheap and readily available antiviral.
My retired dad's former coworker had it. His blood oxygen levels dropped and he had a lot of trouble breathing. He's in his early 70's. He went to the hospital and was given oxygen - he was fine in about 7 days.
yep. it's fucking nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the people here have had it.
How old are you out of curiosity? Any preexisting conditions? Just curious to see how that compares to my age and health.
Thanks for the reply!
Or you had the common cold.
Given your description I feel like I've had that 3 or 4 times a year my entire. who knew covid was so common!
Exactly I watched my father n law In hospital w covid and emphaseyma and he drinks and smoke take hcq (I had to demand it was during that ) and beat it in 3 days at hospital. 2 weeks later he’s on the golf course!
This is a hoax
I assume I had it in Jan. It was a little worse than a common cold. I got over it in 5 days, had coughing fits for 2 of those days. My kids all got over it in 2 days. My wife took 3 weeks. It was not life threatening.
Unless they did a genetic test (which they didn't) no one can even be sure you had COVID 19. Antibody tests can respond as positive to viruses in the same family (coronaviruses) which comprises 20% of cases of the common cold. My next question would be - how did you test negative this past monday for antibodies of a virus you had on June 20th? I think maybe you didn't really catch COVID.
They tested for 4 other corona viruses. Came back negative. I had it, but is was nothing.
I have it too. It never got worse than a sore throat for me. Remember this virus is Made in China.
I have the sniffles, better stay home for 14 days🤡🤡🤡
Been exposed a few times, never once had even a symptom. At this point I probably have enough antibodies that it is even more irrelevant than it was before. Good to hear it wasn't bad for you in actually coming down with it.
How was the symptoms you experienced different than the common cold?
No respiratory problems. Just behaved like a mild stomach flu.
thanks.
Glad you're feeling well again and that your family's alright!
Keep up the good work.
So you don't have to wear a mask now right???? 🤔🤔🤔
If I could find a local grocery store that didn't require it, I would never wear it again. However, I have 5 kids to feed so I'l bare with it.
Want me to email you the test results?
You should just post a screen cap (minus any PII) for the haters.
What's /pol?
AngryDrafter, looks like "DeathCultsSuck" thinks you came on TDW to lie about having #ChineseVirus
Sad!
Must be that TDS i hear about.
