On reddit I got into a discussion because everyone said this dude dad was a pos for beating his kid and breaking his arm. Well turns out the kids brother set fire to ten hectares and he took the blame from his younger brother oh and the arm breaking was because he ran away so dad grabbed him by the arm so he would have to deal with the consequences of his "action".
Did he exaggerate sure but how emotional would any sane person be if your kid set a fire that could of destroyed your home killed his siblings and endangered your neighbors life and possessions. Got downvoted into oblivion for pointing out he was justified but that's what speaking the truth gets you over there.
Lots of people saying they'd have sat their child down to explain what was wrong, ground them etc. No one appreciated the gravity of the action oh and many I hope you don't have kids you'll be a shitty parent for agreeing kids should expect reaction to action
I think the reason they pushed against corporal punishment a while back was because it was so effective in...shall we say, tuning a recalcitrant child's nervous system.
Of course, you have to do it correctly. No anger. Simple -- you do this, you get that.
They do the thing, they get the consequences.
They didn't want kids to learn about the consequences of their actions, so now they have loony tunes playing in the street at night while wearing black...
And being utterly surprised when they get hit by a car.
America's best and brightest. This is our future. They need to post parents pictures as well to see how this starts

My ex said I needed to be more of a friend to her son.
I told her, he has plenty of friends, what he needs is a parent.
It's the exact same thing as leading people. You're not meant to be friends with your children. You're supposed to be their parents.
Ha! Nor in my family. I can give my twenty year old, over six feet tall son a look and he knows I mean business.
And thats exactly how it should be.
You.
I like you.

Some of them look related, makes you wonder.
Yep, you said it before I could: Antifa actively recruits mentally ill people, drug addicts, and criminals.
MUTANTS!!!
Reference to Edward Dutton.
In a lot of societies, if your kids mess up, you have to apologize for raising them that way
