I totally oppose the smear job that Roy Moore suffered from, but I don't think that obvious satire/comedy/humor should be subject to these kinds of lawsuits even if it's from the other side. This sets a horrible precedent.

Imagine if Hillary could sue for memes about her killing witnesses.

Imagine if Joe Biden could could sue for funny YouTube skits about his dementia.

This isn't the world I want to live in.

The standard for lawsuits should be pretty high, especially in the context of obvious parody/satire/comedy.

If Roy can prove defamation in a court of law, then he should get Cohen for as much as he can. Ruin him.

Satire is making fun of someone or something in a fictitious context. Cohen was sitting next to the actual person (not fictitious) and asserting that he was a pedophile using "comedy" as a cover.

Biden and Hillary actually do have legal grounds to sue for defamation. The reason they don't is because a court case would reveal that all of it's true.

You go to an interview. Someone pulls out a key-chain that beeps when its near pedophiles and makes it beep when its next to you and broadcasts it on television.

Would you feel like you're part of a comedy routine?
