“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says children under 2 and people who have trouble breathing, are unconscious, incapacitated or can’t take off a mask without help shouldn’t wear one.”

So..... whose to tell you whether you’re having trouble breathing or not?

If you are having trouble breathing, you must have the covid19 and they will put you on a ventilator.

The worthless mayor of Minneapolis decided on his own to implement this through an emergency order about a month ago. Nobody is actually enforcing the order and people have stopped caring about it. I don't know how the city expects the police to enforce their orders while simultaneously labeling them all as racists and working to dismantle their department.

Yeah the deep state is really stepping on their own lies lately. Makes me think they might be a little disorganized and frantic.

That's a shame...

I would but I illegally carry because of the leftist shit hole I'm stuck in. (LA County). Only wearing it so I have less chances of being accosted. I don't want someone to attack me over a mask and me have to hurt them god forbid. I'm doing it to protect from the criminals and gang bangers all out on the streets. BTW did you hear LA county is closing it's jail?

Well I guess that's a good reason to avoid drawing attention to yourself.

You're risking felony weapons charges aren't you?

You should think about moving out of there. I live out in the country and its actually back to normal here...mostly.

Its actually only a misdemeanor. And being that they do not have jail space anymore for anyone but the most violent, not to mention no-pay bail. I am certain I will not see the inside of a cell. I know a guy personally here who recently got caught carrying (not sure how some dumb thing he got himself in) they threw out his misdemeanor because of covid.

I know I am stuck here to take care of family issues first but as soon as I can we are out of here. Its the wild west for criminals but it's like 1984 for law abiding citizens here its crazy.

They're also closing the LA county men's central jail in downtown because of the recent budget slash.

Well good luck man. I've got friends and family in LA, they're miserable right now.

Such a shame I always had a great time there.

Thank you. I do all I can to keep myself out of any dangerous situations. And luckily I'm not in the city I'm out a good 15 miles into the suburbs. Its falling apart here too but nothing like rioting or looting in my area yet.

yup we just got a mandatory outdoor mask requirement in NJ (they of course try to caveat with "when social distancing is impossible" but that's a cop-out)

he cant. the moment he moves to do anything on a federal level, everyone will cry "states rights" and start filing lawsuits to continue governors unconstitutional powers

letrain 4 points ago +4 / -0

True right here. He does however need to demand country reopen but honestly the culture war is more important at this moment. These governors and local officials are hanging themselves. Yes it sucks but when the public sees people being arrested for simply having a party and riotors burning buildings and being released it will help bring them to the war against Marxism. It is a dangerous play, but until local officials ask for federal help his hands are tied.

^This pede gets it.

Sometimes the winning play is the less bad of two bad choices. Trump is a master gamesman and knows how to chart these waters.

I do listen to radio and hear conservative radio hosts complaiing trump isn't doing enough, but then it leads into Republicans being cowards for the last 50 years. So even though they doubt the president and wish he would do more it's making them call out Republicans in Congress, governors, etc. Then trump gives a fantastic speech at Rushmore and calls everyone out. Whether you believe he's a master gamesmen or not, I have come to see him as just a normal frustrated American. Trying to use the system and getting exhausted with it. He has the bully pulpit and I wish he would use it more. His approval rating was goiing up from the China virus news conferences everyday. As an American I also have been in those meeting for situations where it sucks, but you have to let it play out and the system work slowly, and when nothing in done days, weeks months later you call out there bullshit and point to the meeting and that they've done nothing it's all just talk. I'm ready to act, so get off your asses and do what you said you were going to do. It's normal business strategy.

Isn't the reason why state governments are allowed to impose their public health restrictions because the federal government authorized the states specifically to do so?

This line reasoning is wrong and defeatist. Tell me again, if Trump has no power to do anything and must always submit to the leftists, why am i voting for him in November?

That's because it was never about 'flattening the curve' it was always about control.
