I wanted to start a sort of discussion post on here to see if other pedes share my opinion on this matter of an Oval Office Address in this time of (manufactured) crisis.

The sum of my opinion to start the discussion is this: Federalism has been the going rule for both the WuFlu and Race War crises, and I think that this is an excellent strategy both constitutionally and electorally for President Trump. However, in order to take advantage of the political momentum stored in the very fact that Democrat-led areas have gone to shit, I think that a Presidential Address from the Oval Office is in order.

The contents of such an address might re-explain the federalist strategy allowing states and cities to protect or destroy themselves, make clear the President's and his administration's position on all matters relevant to the current challenges, and (if we are lucky) include the name-by-name reading of a list of bad-acting or inept local and state representatives with a description of the carnage each elected leader has caused through their policies.

I would REALLY appreciate to hear all of your opinions on this matter. My argument boils down to the idea that we should wait no longer to make clear to the American people that local and state leaders cannot blame Blumpf for all their problems. Should the President make such an address, and if so, what would you like to see within this address?

He has given many press conferences and addresses during this... I don't think the location of where he gives them really means all that much or will make a difference vs doing them at any other location in the White House....

Plus this isn't like every other President where that's the only time we get to hear from them... we get to hear exactly how he's feeling and what he's thinking straight from the horse's mouth every single day on Twitter....

Thanks for giving your thoughts. I hear your argument, and I think that you are correct when it comes to people willing to hear him. But the Oval Office Address and the prepared nature of those speeches carry a certain gravity that would force opposing news media to show their audiences the full address, live.

I could be wrong that more people would listen in my proposed case. But I think a sharp address to the nation would be an utter red-pill dispensary.

I’ve been saying this from the start. They’ve started using video clips at Press Conferences to call out the Fake News but they need to do the same to highlight Dem Shithole cities and policies. I guarantee there are a lot of Dems living in those cities that are sick and tired of the rampant crime, homelessness, filth, graft, shitty schools, rising taxes and cost of living while the living standard continues to fall.

We just might be able to flip some blue states red with this strategy.

Exactly. I think people in those areas see the destruction, and they see the federal government. But they don't see how much their local choices affect their outcomes. Pushing federalist strategy is only effective so long as the people draw the connection between their safety and their local policies.

I bet the hundreds of business owners in each of the Dem Shitholes who’s businesses were closed down, looted and burned won’t be voting for Democrats.

All of those Dems that were “on your side!” but were beat down and attacked anyways and then shamed by the media if they defended themselves as well as being charged by the same police/prosecutors that stood down and allowed the destruction to happen won’t be voting for Dems again.

All of the Dems canceled and called racist by the Woke Mob for saying, “All Lives Matter” in a well meaning statement of support for BLM won’t be voting for Dems. Probably won’t vote for Trump but they won’t be voting for Sleepy Joe.
