Hello,
My favorite pizza place here in Texas today just reopened. They announced they are keeping the dining room closed because of Covid but would still allow you to pick up your order at the side window that faces a public sidewalk.
I called my order in and walked up to the window in the 100+ degree heat with my card ready. The worker opens the window and the first thing he says is “Do you have a mask with you?” I say “no”
He then takes my card to charge it and grab my order. As he’s handing me my food and card back he tells me point blank that in the future I will be denied service if I do not wear a mask outside at the pickup window.
What recourse should I take for this blatant discrimination? Looking for advice.
Get a Sandwich-board suit explaining the actual laws on one side, and how Covid is a hoax on the other, and hassle the foolsh*t out of the place there on the public sidewalk .. deriding them, their food, and their ignoramus muzzle 'requirement' until they go home and smoke themselves for being a useless bag of cucks.
Or stand outside and cough everywhere like an asshole till they give you your food, they'll want you out of there sooner rather than later, little less prep work
Additional Context:
I reported the issue to the manager who was quick to defend the policy. I explained to him how it was illegal, discrimination and that quite simply they don’t have the authority to tell me what to wear outside of their establishment. He said they were meeting on this policy (but it seems like he was just saying that to placate me).
Yeah, they do have the right to disctate who they do business with, as long as they are not refusing a protected class, ie, race, gender, religion etc.
The government may not be allowed to restrict like this, but private businesses can.
Place your (very large)order, go to pick it up and if they refuse they eat the cost.
Place your (very large)order, go to pick it up with the full intentions that you're not going to pay for it, you Would have, but medically you cannot restrict your breathing, but you understand them sticking to their fantasy that masks do anything besides prime the public for later accepting sterilant 'vaccinations'.
In fact, have everyone you know do that, for Weeks. Make it a game on the local social media. How many times can you f'ck over PizzaMask?
Shoulda just pulled your shirt up over your nose. Pow, mask.
Go somewhere else for now until after the election when sanity resumes. Sanity probably will never come back though cause if he wins again they’re going to come after him even harder with more plannedemics (much worse than this bullshit) and everything else under the sun
I'd say they sound like your former favorite pizza place. Call up the manager or owner and tell them they lost your business due to cuckoldness or at the least tell them your not going back till masking policy is lifted .
Write a nice letter to the owner. Tell them what happened, you love their pizza and you'd hate to go elsewhere if it happens again. Then try it again. There's lots of pizza joints, even in Texas.
Call the owner, tell him his employee threats lost them business.
Tell Pizza Hut to F off
Haha, I would but Pizza Hut is already bankrupt.
Go somewhere else. Problem solved.
I don’t think running away is the answer here.
The point of a business is to make money. Them pushing your money to competitors is “running away”? It’s kinda how the economy in the country works lmao. What are you gonna do, force a company to serve you? How?
Right? Like the way Blacks never got a soda from White soda counters. Best to just give up. It is their result of their caprice, after all. Who could argue with That?
You think utilizing the free market is running away? Lolwut? Are you saying you can force somebody to serve you? People enacting dumbass policies that forces their customers to go else where is their own problem, and a stupid idea. You either take care of your customer, or you fail. Are you saying the bakery should’ve been forced to bake the cake or something? Don’t be a hypocrite.
Didn’t we all agree that a baker doesn’t need to bake a celebratory cake for a gay person? Isn’t this similar to a restaurant doesn’t have to serve you if you’re not wearing a mask as per their policy?
Vote with your feet/money!
I don't think people are getting the central argument here. I am outside on a public sidewalk, not inside their building being difficult and refusing to wear a mask. I was merely picking up an order that I phoned in. There was no sign on the window nor did they communicate to me over the phone to have a mask ready to wear outside for the exchange.
You could wear a mask if you want their service.
I’m outside on a public sidewalk, I’m not inside their business. No other business in my area has this requirement precisely because it is illegal.
There's a law against refusing service to whoever you want? Bake the cake, bigot!
