We have these Diversity Advisory Groups that host meetings on diversity and regularly produce propaganda for everyone to read.
Examples are like Pride Month, Black Heritage Month, etc. But they also produce a calendar of significant celebrations for the month. Half of them mentioned are typically holidays not celebrated in America or anywhere in the western world.
Anyways, we had an optional meeting where they talked about systemic racism, white privilege, and our feelings of course. At the end of the course there was a further reading email sent out with books like "White Fragility" mentioned.
So I pushed back by asking if we could, in the future, see videos from John McWhorter or Thomas Sowell. They said they would review what I had mentioned and let me know.
