I: Sorry sick people can't pet my dog.
MW: I'm not sick.
I: Then why are you wearing a mask.
MW: To stop the spread.
I: ...........
Bonus when there is a group of people and I let the non-masker pet my dog.
Not that these people care about logic, but the point of masks is not to not get it, it's to not spread it. So to repeat OP's question, if you're not sick, why wear a mask?
The reason they want us all muzzled with face diapers is the same thing as St. Floyd getting a gold coffin and 57 funerals. They're trying out symbolism again. If everyone's wearing masks, things look way worse than they actually are.

Asymptomatic spread is rare. But that certainly calls to muzzle the entire population.
