That's the normal way they try and do this. They'll toss in one or two things that people can agree on, or at least see the benefit of if tweaked a little, and surround it with the most batshit insane nonsense that they want to push. Then when it fails for obvious reasons they can point at the decent stuff and cry about how we can't have the nice things because you wouldn't take all the crazy to get it.

Civil Asset Forfeiture does need to end, period. That’s the single thing in that act that I could get behind. The rest is just drunken nonsense. Ramblings of women who so badly want to be taken seriously.
