Pardon me if I don't take Sputnik's report on a Venezuelan military operation at face value.
We have no idea who was operating that plane, or why. It could have been involved in drug trafficking, or it could have been involved in a covert US intelligence operation.
2nd amendment equivalent in Mexico equals Cartel death sentence.
