I believe there are some laws pertaining to the treatment of the American flag. I learned them as a child and remember that it shouldn't touch the ground and must be folded in a triangular fashion. The rest is fuzzy after many decades but I am pretty sure this clown is in deep trouble if the government chose to turn their attention on him.

Jesuits can be a weirdly progressive. The University my husband went to was Jesuit run and recently they put sanitary products in the men's room for transgenders.
My husband was really shocked at how much it had changed since he went to school there. He said he wouldn't have been comfortable with women in the men's room regardless of what they thought they were. But that goes to show you that Jesuits can be a little weird in their interpretations of religious thought. Presumably, that kind of thinking would be contrary to traditional Catholicism.
