Spent 4th of July with friends. Feasted on prosciutto, manchego, watermelon, grilled burgers served with potato salad, corn on the cob, and matcha cupcakes for dessert. Haha. Washed down with prosecco and dos equis.
Watched some fireworks over the skies of atx, similar but smaller in scale than those seen over LA.

She's out of state and told her mom over the phone that she shouldn't be celebrating freedom when blacks aren't free. I told my friend, but aren't we celebrating independence from the British? She was too dumbfounded to answer her daughter. sigh
If demoncraps had not been actively destroying the black community for decades, black families would now be thriving and enjoying an economic status equal to that of white families. I'm encouraged to see black people waking up and fighting back. If whites and blacks can join forces, we can beat these commie losers back for good!
My BIL is black but born in Nigeria. He's doing fine. He has his own business that is thriving. I don't get the perpetual victimhood that African Americans push, especially by those who seem to have done well for themselves.
It is a waste of the opportunity of being in America to be dependent on the State for money when one could work instead. It is un-American and therefore breeds an un-American attitude. Blacks who do well for themselves but still spout hate seem to be doing their own form of virtue signalling in their community to avoid being perceived as "sell-outs". The historic low unemployment rate for blacks that Geotus had achieved before the planDEMic, was going to save them and right the ship, so I hope we can get that back soon!

Girl I’m with you. Eligible but never followed through. I will say though that my grandmother went to meetings and thought they were all stuck up. But who knows.
I would say get everything in order and attend one or two meetings. See how you feel. I wish I had more info about what type of commitment they require, but I don’t right now. I have a local county chapter and a bigger city chapter I still don’t know which would be better to join haha. Maybe they would be understanding to how much you can actually commit.

My local chapter is mostly middle aged to retired ladies, I don’t have a lot of time but they said some people just get the membership and don’t come to meetings, others are super involved and everything else in between. No obligation.
We raise funds and donations for veterans services, lay wreaths at cemeteries, show up to cheer for honor flights, there’s a book club, genealogy help, all sorts of stuff. They usually march in the 4th of July parade, too.
I still have years til my kids fly the coop, but I will need something for me. I love being a part of something that reminds me of what a debt I owe to my ancestors.

I don't believe many of the rioters were from around here. but they sure left their mark on our city. San Francisco is sinking. I'm not sure if this is just a hangout, or if it's just for ladies or what, but I had a question that I not dare put on Twitter or Facebook lest the woke police decide to lecture me.
In your opinion, is there a difference between liking something because it is racist, and liking something but not because it's racist and you don't think it's racist.
My example is Trump on his own. I've seen people call him racist (and misogynist and sexist and transphobic and homophobic and xenophobic and blah blah blah) and say anyone who supports him is also racist and is supporting racism. I do not feel like the things he says are racist or any of those things. There are areas of grey. There are bad people and good people. How many times did he say that Mexico is sending drug dealers and murderers and gang bangers, and then a day later on Cinco de Mayo say how much he loves Mexicans? He talks about wanting good people to come in and not people who are just coming in to damage and hurt the country. He talks about wanting to lower unemployment and crime rates in black communities, he never says anything racist about black people, but he will criticize people who are also black and acting like headcases.
I don't think he is racist. I'm not racist. I don't like Trump because I'm racist and I think he's racist and I support racism. Same thing with the "grab them by the pussy" thing and everyone said "THAT'S SO MISOGYNIST, HE'S SEXIST" and I didn't think it was sexist. You've never been with a bunch of guys and they talk about that shit? I worked with a staff of adults teaching band with kids and when it was just us, some of the jokes I heard ABOUT kids, let alone other stuff, then I see the people go on social media and cry about bad stuff that orange man says. Brandon Straka has a great vid where he confronts women at the women's March about the "grab her by the..." comment. Essentially he gets the gal to confront the reality that that comment was made about groupies - women who throw themselves at the rich and powerful, who literally ask for it.
Trump isn't racist. You are not racist for supporting him. Anyone who says so is not dealing with reality. Choosing to have that conversation when they bait you with lies validates the false reality.

South Dakota's governor is such a true beauty, and you can tell she has a great compassion for everyone as she leads her state according to the constitution instead of out of fear.
